Peak Cadence Projects

Dan Hill

When we are not spending time running projects for clients, we actively develop our own projects and services.

Developed by Peak Cadence

MapADay.com

We developed and launched MapADay.com in 2020 to allow users to find, create and share travel itineraries. Tired of scouring the net for travel plans, we knew there could be an easier way to plan a trip. MapADay itineraries are community sourced by our user base – travel writers and enthusiasts, bloggers and tourism professionals.

We spent considerable time on SEO, ensuring that MapADay.com was as Google search friendly as possible, so that MapADay’s content could be shared as widely as possible via organic search.

We developed MapADay.com from scratch in record time using agile development methodologies. We used incremental releases on a daily basis to test the platform – and we were live with a basic app after only a couple of weeks of development. We were reliant on our community of users for continuous feedback.

Hosted in Google Cloud, MapADay is ready to scale. We’re awaiting the end of the Covid19 epidemic in order promote and properly assess the future direction for the platform.

We believe in running all projects using agile techniques – and that the key measure of progress is working and demonstrable software.
